On 11/16/17 at 5:30PM, Mayor Berkowitz met with the Korean-American NexGen group at the City hall.

He discussed and presented various ways for Anchorage residents to volunteer in the City government including but not limited to boards and commissions (https://www.muni.org/Departments/Mayor/Boards/Pages/BoardsCommissionsList.aspx).  The mayors’ staff were present and answered various questions.

In addition Ms Laurie Wolf, Foraker Group CEO, presented what her group provides in terms of training for potential board members for various non-profit and city boards & commission (https://www.forakergroup.org/index.php/our-business/).

The next meeting for KA NexGen will be on 12/16/17 at the Korean-American Community Center (3630 Jewel Lake Rd, Anchorage, AK 99502).    The potluck will be open at 5:30PM.
